【什麼是TAGs】
臺灣茶分類分級系統(Taiwan tea Assortment & Grading system, TAGs)，是茶及飲料作物改良場開發的茶葉評鑑系統，以茶改場研發的風味輪系統為基礎，讓每一款分級後的臺灣茶都能擁有專屬的風味敘述，使消費者更容易了解茶的風味特色。此外，更結合臺灣茶溯源系統及藥檢，確保經過分類分級的茶葉都能安心無虞，達到產品安全、產地明確、消費者安心的三贏局面。
【TAGs評分方式】
由產官學專家與TAGs主辦單位共同討論每一場的評審標準，利用茶及飲料作物改良場設計的「評鑑標準建立表」，按「外觀」、「水色」、「香氣」、「滋味」等項目擬定屬於該場次的「風味評分表」，再由評審人員依照此「風味評分表」進行感官品質的分析與分級。
